25 years past its inception, we can rejoice in the Holy Spirit for having led the Jesus Youth movement into 700+ colleges across 32 states in India through the campus ministry. The seeds have been dropped far and wide and found fertile grounds abroad as well. Many of those who animate the movement today had their beginnings in this ministry and were groomed through this ministry! It’s an honour the Lord has bestowed upon us, to be part of an ever growing movement of the Catholic Church - to grow and sustain together! We have witnessed astounding feats, be it an initiation of a new prayer group, or a reach out to a new college, or a gathering of youngsters from all over the country under the name of Jesus Christ (banner of the Lamb of God)!

It has been possible through the dedication and efforts put in by each one of us in our regions despite our limitations and challenging life situations...the occasions we have set apart, our valuable time, our energy and our resources for the glory of the Kingdom of God, the times we have rendered selfless service in taking extreme sacrifices and in enduring hardships to answer the Lord's call! We thus share in the joy of St. Paul, as he puts in Philippians 2:17, "Even if I am poured out as a libation upon the sacrificial service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with all of you".

As good seeds, enriched by grace, we have borne fruits in thirty, sixty and hundred fold! Now we have come to a crossroad! As we understand from Luke 19, to those who are faithful in little things will be entrusted greater things. What we have accomplished in the Lord is remarkable, and it’s time we answer the greater call. It’s high time we assemble together as knights of the Lord and, be inspired by the Holy Spirit, vision our days and ways ahead.

In the past when we came together as one family (one in heart and mind) we have shared and nurtured our dreams and aspirations. The National Campus Conference is yet another trumpet sounding, but it will be unique in itself! We hope to make drastic differences in the way we do things and in the course of the ministry. To do greater deeds, it’s essential that we equip and empower ourselves with a new vision and a renewed aspiration.
